Every employer and workplace needs to have a code of conduct that is linked with workplace ethics in place. This will ensure that the employees who join the organization are made aware of what is the acceptable mode and form of behavior in the organization and they act accordingly.

At the same time once the code of conduct has been set and written down the company should be careful enough to see that it is implemented as then they will be able to showcase that the policies that they frame are on the same wave length as the code of conduct. This can even result in the company being sued if they go against what is mentioned in the code of conduct.

This will go on to save you a whole lot of trouble later on in the day when your company is operational and you have several employees working for it.
The code of conduct should go ahead to identify the key factors and behavioral factors needed by the employees and adherence to it. All employees then should be made to confirm to them so that there is consistency and sustained outcomes in the company. Every employee should have access to the code of conduct and be able to refer to them whenever they want to.
